This was the first time I ever tried the wireframing exercise taught from BAM Animation!
While doing blob heads wasn't unfamiliar to me, BAM Animation including it in their exercises video was worth relearning and implementing into my own work.
Three exercises into one: speed circles, paralleling lines into a grid for line confidence, and blob heads!
Around Halloween, I want to use a more thematic version of my sona about that time, and decided to revamp my Hallowsona (so to speak) into a vampire huntress with partially healed lycanthropy. Wolf ears included.
I was exploring more of how I usually draw a VERY simplified version of my sona, mostly with eye depictions.
With a brand new icon in the works, it was about high time I also updated the visuals of my sona too, and how I drew her. Mostly to get used to it and how to approach it.
A watercolour study of a popular Gravity Falls background. I wasn't looking for perfect, I was looking for done.
Some thumbnail studies of Wayne Family Adventures Volume One in the physical book I own.
This was painted in both watercolour and acrylic paint after a very impactful and emotional night at church, reflecting on the year that had gone past and preparing for the future.
Implementing my new version of my shirt on my sona was proving it to be worth it, and I adore how the whole piece came out.
