The reason behind this new fashion design habit of mine in this case was the recent yet beloved brainrot of SpiderSaber - its ongoing collaborative writing project detailing the origin of Soph Darling and a version of Peter Parker coming together as a romantic couple.
So, I found myself designing Soph's dress for their very first dinner date together. I was inspired by other Star Wars ladies and their costume designs, but more specifically on Breha Organa's blue-and-white ensemble from the Kenobi show. There's also a very princess-y touch to it too, specifically leaning on 50's Disney 'Cinderella,' but I also wanted to keep true to Soph's personality and how it would affect her fashion choices in the dress.
In this case, swapping out less fragile shoes like standard heels for a low-heeled yet stylish chelsea boot - ironically coming in the colour of the animated glass slippers!
And, unironically, if you let me alter some portions here and there, I would genuinely wear this ensemble myself.
